November 23rd, 2001 in Atlanta, GA. airport. Terminal B, smoking lounge near Gate 26B @ approx 3:45PM.
I walked in after a bad flight and had a three hour layover. I saw her. I was stunned. Wow, I thought. Way out of my league. Now, of all the places NOT to have a clock is in the one room where people are waiting for their next flight. I asked her the time and we got to talking.
I found she had a three hour layover also. We talked the entire time. We shared a cup of coffee at the local vendor within Terminal B. At the end of three hours, I found myself asking myself "Do I really want to get on my next flight?"
We exchanged E-mails, yet on my next flight I found myself telling some stranger sitting next to me about this amazing woman I had just met. Wierd for me.
We exchanged e-mails, used Pal-Talk to talk everyday. I took my first real vacation in years to see her in Florida within two months of our first meeting. I paid extra to get a layover flight in Atlanta, GA. to pick up some of the same coffee. She came to visit me a month after that.
It was then, dropping her off at the airport. I was devistated. All the way home, holding back the tears of her loss. I came home to a household of half empty cups of Dunkin Donuts coffee. She can't drink an entire 32 oz. cup. I broke, right there at my appartment door.
I knew then, she was the one for me. I quit my job shortly there after and moved to Florida to be with her. We were married soon after.
Married for 5 years now. Everything about my wife makes her different from the rest. Her smile lights any room. Her eyes sparkle. Her voice is like a symphony to me. Her touch can calm even the most troubled soul. Her embrace is like my redemption. She's smart, supportive and understanding of all my 'male habits'. (i.e. leaving the toilet seat up. etc., etc.) I don't think there's anything out there, fact or fiction, that could replace my wife in my life.
I could go on, but I think I took enough of your time.

I met my wife at her job and from then on I focused all my attention on her. She was the only one in my life that didnt give up on me and that stayed there beside me through all the hard times. She was the only woman that has ever just came into my life and changed it. I got kicked out of my old apartment and when she found out about it it broke her heart. She ask me to move to her moms house in Missouri, we lived in Kentucky. I knew right then that she was the one for me. She was always there for me when no one else was. I put all my time into her and getting to know her. That had never happened before. She was there through all the good times and the bad. To know that she cared enough to change her life and where she lived to make mine better, that blew me away. We have been happily married for 2 years now and we have a baby girl. I couldnt ask for anything to be better. My life is complete and there is nothing that I would do to change it. They are my life and if it wasnt for my wife, I dont know where I would be. Thanks baby!!!
