Are there any planetary scientists out there?

Im thinking of becoming one. how much do they get paid? what exactly do they do and are they in a lab all day?

Try asking this question in the Astronomy Section. There are some geologists who study other planets but most geologists study the Earth.

PH.d and lots of money....Only thing you will work long nights. Can not see them during the day. If you only want to work during the day try another profession.
