I dont think you should stop, I would just get a good base tan going and then use self tanner to make it even DARKER! I did this this summer. i started using tanning beds 4 yrs ago when i was 13 and went on 'tanning bed hiatus' last year. It was cool cuz it worked, but it was harsh on my skin. my mom actually got skin cancer from tanning a long time ago, but she is okay now THANK GOD!!!! I love my mommy!

In Australia a 26 year old girl recently died from skin cancer caused by tanning beds. There is now a new law named after her that means all solariums are required to have age limits on thier tanning beds and appropriate warnings of the severe health risks involved in using them... Please stop using them they are very very dangerous!!

Yep, my friend Bobbi did. She had to get a huge hunks of her nose, shoulder and forehead carved out. She was 26 years old when she had the first one cut out. Not pretty.

I know people who use tanning beds "responsibly" and they seem to be fine.

Well I personally don't know of any one but I use them and now have a growth on the tip of my nose.....rrrrr it is so annoying. It will cost me $150 to get it removed too and who knows what scar it will leave me. I'm all about sun blocker now.
