Unless it's some use of ^ that you aren't explaining to us, (2y^)^ is meaningless.

Your Q is incomplete,it be like
(2^2)^3=2^6=2x2x2x2x2x2=64

For the third time: how about giving us some actual exponents to go after those caret marks? Otherwise what you're writing is meaningless.

Or, even better: just learn the fact that (ab)^c = a^c b^c.

simplify (2y^)^?
I'll assume you meant something like (2y^m)^n
If my assumption is correct thesimplification is 2^ny^(m*n)
