He got what he deserved and no there was no excessive force. Each person present at the event now has the rights to sue this man legally for violating their civil rights. It probably won't happen but He screwed himself.

It's hard to say how to respond to it. It depends on who you ask--including the student stunned. Was he TRYING to provoke a violent or at least police response? From what I am saw on the video--and we all know that videos do not always tell the whole story--it looks like he sought to create an embarrassing scene. He may claim otherwise.

The tasering (is that a word?) itself is also a matter of some debate. There were plenty of cops on the student, but he was also clearly continuing to struggle.

My guess is he got what we wanted--to cause a bad scene for Kerry. I also think he probably got what he deserved. And the two were not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Cheers.

You may believe that Andrew Meyer behaved like an *** to to John Kerry. John Kerry has dealt with a lot worse situations and John Kerry volunteered to answer the question.

Andrew Meyer was already held down and going to jail for sure when the police tasered him. Commentators said Andrew Meyer calmed down after getting tasered. I believe anyone would calm down after being tasered.

UF has always treated their undergrad students like crap, especially students from the working class and poor because they know their parents can't donate to the university and those students and parents are just happy to get into a decent college.

UF also has the 4th largest student population on one campus in the U.S. so undergrad students are treated more like cattle than an asset to the university. No wonder they have trouble finding students to go for their graduate degrees at UF and finding alumni that will donate to the academic side of UF.

I thought it was hilarious! - You don't see that kind of bullshit at Ron Paul's rallies!!!!!

The kid asked a good question. John Kerry was going to reply. The police stepped in to stop.... I don't know what?

Super funny! Bad publicity for John Kerry.

What only tasered. ? I watched a video of this moron shouting and raving and stopping other students from asking questions to John Kerry. He disrupted the meeting, refused to leave when asked, assulted security staff and only tasered.? He should have been expelled as well.

He was tasered for being a loud, combative, inconsiderate a$$ to everyone in the room...not just Kerry. So, I have no problem with it.

No. He pushed his thank you to the front and grow to be appearing extremely nasty while final question had already been pronounced as. He demanded to be heard. extremely exciting the way you in basic terms see him on tape after that. His purpose grow to be to disrupt and seem as an disenchanted supporter, he used a guilt technique, as in, he grow to be permit down by utilising Kerry and wanted solutions, to be reassured. it extremely is how he grow to be waiting to pass on a sprint longer. At any value, he grow to be escorted out and commenced resisting and yelling. submit to in recommendations, he grow to be resisting. it extremely is actual on purpose. He persevered to yell and face up to repeatedly. Why is it that law enforcement officers could get harm? that human beings including him can strike a cop and that's ok? that is not. A taser isn't a bad difficulty. Its intensely painful yet no longer deadly. It hurts, locks you up yet as quickly as that is over, that is over. not extra soreness and extra importantly, not extra area outcomes. Pepper Spray might have cleared the corridor. ASP batons might have harm others and left long term outcomes. i've got seen MANY taser events and while its clicked off, they stop screaming. He grow to be screaming for the cameras. How do i be responsive to? because of the fact the 12 internet site record that grow to be released. while he grow to be escorted down the stairs he became to the officer who tased him and pronounced, "you probably did no longer something incorrect." and grow to be non violent and quiet. while he have been given downstairs he began screaming returned around the cameras. there is not any extreme tension right here. he's no longer harm, no longer injured and grow to be in basic terms in soreness for 5 seconds while the placement grow to be out of control. Had he complied initially, none of this may be an argument. even nonetheless that is in basic terms an argument because of the fact human beings think of that is okay to do regardless of they desire. in the tip, he could have complied. there is plenty suitable to the placement that is unknown my many and yet they nonetheless remark on it.

It had to do with the question he was asking. He asked him about skull and bones. When a politician is asked about a secret club they belong to it can become violent.
