Who agrees with me... that 2 Pac is overrated???

i think 2 pac is overrated. he raps so simple and nothing out of this world. 2 pac made songs that people wanted to hear and he put it out there all the time pretending or making it seem like he lived it. 2 pac is probably the fakest rapper too.. he wasnt a gangster at all.. and we all know it he never sold drugs, shot anybody,yeah he got shot but since when is it cool to get shot?("you respect the one who got shot, i respect the shooter!" -JAY) never jumped into a gang, wasnt a blood, wasnt even from the west! his mom was more thug than him!.his flow sounds the same all the time.. he cannot freestyle to save his life.he got big after he died.. everyone jumped on his d*ck for no reason.. i am tired of people putting him in the top 3 rappers of all time! there is no metaphores involved no similies no complicated rap or stories.. just lyrics that would make him look like a victim and a gangster that would help him sale, please DONT say he is better than Nas and or Jay Z . at all

i agree with him being overrated, AND F-A-K-E..... i hate hearin people say he was the realest rapper alive. But i will say that he did make good music, you dont always need to have lyricism to make a good song; but overall i do agree with wat you are sayin

I agree with some of what you are saying. Although I think you are a bit harsh at times. True, a lot of Pac's mystique has to do with his untimely death. And lets face it, with the exception of "Changes", most of Tupac's posthumous material...sucks. It should have stayed unreleased.

Nontheless, I would say that Pac has no equal at describing the world around him honestly. I believe that most people that admire Pac admire him for his personal and social commentary than for his "thug life" image. It is his ability at "moral storytelling" that for me vaults him into #2 status. Behind Biggie.

2Pac Stans need to look at his catalog honestly. 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z . ARE NOT CLASSICS. Me Against The World and All Eyez On Me are classics.

but if ur telling me he is fake...why does it matter if he sells drugs or not or if he shoots people or not..wtf does that have anything to do with how good of a rapper he is. Get your priorities in check son.

Its cool to get shot ever since 50 cent...pac got shot a few times and lived...even Biggie called him a "really strong dude"

U say he is fake, yet he is dead for what he spoke. I f he was fake he would still be living. He isnt overated overal, he is overrated when it comes to rapping ability. He doesnt use metaphors, no wordplay, and he only rhymes to ways(calm or screaming). But he isnt overrated as a rapper, because he actually had meaning in his songs, he was a poet, that could rap basically. And if he is so overrated, keep his damn name out your mouth.

Are you out of ya damn mind? Sure he might've been a lil overrated after he died but he earned it. All that **** he talked about in his songs were true, look it up you motherfuck*n' hater. He is better than Nas because Nas himself said that he cried after he heard 2Pac's song, Against All Odds. Jay-Z humbled himself before Pac after his death. What the hell does this all show you, dumba**?

i wouldn't say he's overrated, but as far as all the elements of being a great rapper go, he's not the G.O.A.T.....crucify me for it, thats just my opinion
