Since a lot support them then put your $$$ where your mouth is and you build their schools

The Hispanics here are working in construction jobs and in Mexican Restaurants.
Most of the women stay home and take care of their children.
I agree with Desert Viking, will you go out and pick crops? How much does it pay and can you support your family on It?
It is a hot, back breaking job, do you want to do it?

In this area, hospitals are closing emergency room after emergency room, as this service, by law, must be supplied at no charge if the person(s) cannot pay....This is southern California, and we have a very real problem here. It is a mixed bag...people want the cheap labor, but they do not want to put up with the gangs, the cost of the illegals...and it is getting very expensive..there is NO such thing as cheap labor in the long run. and we are being run over by illegals in all parts of the US...let's face it, it is out of control. I have done a 180 on this in the past few years when I opened my eyes as to what the real cost is! Just try going to one of these countries and working as an illegal! You will end up in jail! Here, there is a movement to bill Mexico for the cost of educating the illegals, and all we get is a barrage of "discrimination" from all sides....it is a no-win situation here, and gets worse by the hour..I mean that literally! BY THE HOUR! What is the point of having borders if they are not controlled, if the offending country does nothing but actually send it people here ...the people here illegally are sending 75% of the US dollars back home, not spending it here, paying no tax or SS, and then expect free medical and schools for their children...it is such a complex problem that it is becoming a very huge thing. Sorry, I have no answers...a wall certainly isn't the answer. Jail is not the answer, for that costs more than schools. What a mess! It has gone on ignored for so long, that illegals have homes, have children born here (that makes them US citizens)...what a mess!

The only cost I've been able to see is in the cost of produce at the market. One of the underreported stories has to do with the movement of produce pickers in the fields of the San Joaquin and Imperial Valleys in California. Many have abandoned the fields and moved into construction jobs in Nevada and Arizona. Some growers are reporting a labor shortage. I'm sitting back to see if native-born Americans are going to take those jobs in the fields.

I have been unable to find a steady job in 5 straight months now and I was denied unemployment. I held on to my last p*ss poor job for 4 years and was treated like sh*t because they knew I was not financially stable enough to leave. I don't so much blame immigration as much as I blame my own government's priorities. I don't believe that anything happens here that they don't know about, they allow it. Americans are not the priority of America.

Same here......not to mention the draw of so many hispanics while our taxes are climbing the value of our homes is dropping. Many people who carefully planned their retirement didn't count on this while their cutting other funds and expecting more out of pocket spending.

I agree. We won't be able ot afford the next pointless war if this continues. Or pay our share of interest on 27 years of borrow-and-spend federal spending.
