Joe Montana
4 Super Bowl rings
Shows that not only was he a good quarterback, but a great leader for his team. Dan Marino may have the stats, but he doesn't have the rings to back up his regular season play. It never matters what you do in the regular season, everyone wants to go all the way. Why play if you don't want to win it all? Joe Montana did it four times. Greatest QB ever. Dan Marino falls just because his horrible play during the postseason. Just like Peyton Manning did for a while. Everyone felt he was really great, but if he didn't step up his postseason play then how could you consider him the best ever?

In my opinon, Dan Marino. He Holds all the records, Brett Farve is closing in on a few of them, but he doesnt compare. Dan Marino. Close second is John Elway (this coming from a Raider fan) he could do it all. Third would be Jim Kelly, I dont think he gets enough credit, he took a team to Four straight Super Bowls (with some help from F.Reich).

Joe Montana is still my pick. Marino was great no doubt. Also if you go by ever I miss out on prior to about the 80s and 90s, and not great on the 80s.

Hey man, I'm not saying it's Dan the Man because you said so, or for trying to get 10 points. Go back about a year in my answer history to see that I would start a franchise with him. He had such a quick release and an accurate eye.

Dan Marino. He didn't miss. His recievers missed or ran wrong routes but he didn't miss.
John Elway and Joe Montana tie for second
Farve is not in the top 6 for me. He is great and will break Marinos touchdown record but will also break the interception record which marino is like 25 interceptions from

Joe (cool) Montana, and for those who cry that he always had Jerry Rice to throw to, in his 4 Super Bowl wins, Rice was only with him for 2.

its dan marino, he was soooo great, and did it with nothing....not taking anything away from montana or aikman, but even if rex had rice or irvin, they would get some winning done, marino had nothing...and made some incredible plays by himself...all the recievers had to do was open their hands up....he was a phenom when he held the ball...dan marino by far

Part of why Favre will get the most INT's is because he never missed a game. He is the best. And he is not done by any means. Name me one Hall of Famer that played on the same team as Favre, besides Reggie White.
