Do they have a chance this season?

Being a HUGE Jets fan I can tell you a few things about them. It all starts with Chad Pennington. He is slow and doesnt have the strongest arm in the NFL. As a result, the coaching staff have to spend draft picks on linemen with their higher picks. (Dbrick, Mangold) Instead they could have went for Matt Leinart or some kinda awesome player with that 4th pick. The Jets should give the reigns to Kellen Clemens, because I think he will be a better QB. Although, the offense isnt the biggest problem. Its the defensive line. NO PRESSURE! They need to trade Dewayne Robertson, and Jonathan Vilma. Vilma will get them a 1st round pick, possibly a high one, then they need to spend their first 3 picks on a big NT, a fast and big DE/OLB and another Inside linebacker designed for the 3-4. I was thinking of a guy like Lawrence Timmons who went to the Steelers this past draft or a Adalius Thomas type player. Then when Free Agency comes, hit someone like Terell Suggs of Baltimore up, or Alen Faneca from Pitt. The Jets have a chance this season, they have played 3 of the top defenses in the league so far, and their schedule will get easier. They wont win the division, seeing as the Patriots are looking like a potential 14-2 or 15-1 team even possibly a 16-0 team. It just depends on how the wild card teams come out.

They have no shot at their division. Wild Card shot is low, there seem to be enough teams that will finish at 10-6 11-5 that the Jets are not going to be in the wild card at 9-7. You got pittsburg who will win their division and in that same division you got baltimore who will probably be 11-5 and take 1 wild card spot. You got Denver, San Diego, JVille, Houston, Titans who could all finish 10-6 and one or two might even be as good as 11-5. Jets have 2 AFC losses, that makes matters a bit worse for them as that hurts in the tie breaker department. I think the Jets finish 9-7 or 8-8 and miss the playoffs.

Just End The Season. Patriots rule that division. Wild card is doubtful.

No...they won't win the Division, and Tennessee and Baltimore will win the wildcard.

chance at the wildcard, but probably not... they are a b-tier team... i dont know why they can never get out of that, but they cant... probably because of their jealousy complex with the pats...

Hate em. Mangina is a joke and I thank my lucky stars he is not the coach of my favorite team.
