It is all set out for us in Islam. Marry for the sake of Allah(swt) and HE will put love between you. A man marries for 4 reasons, and he who marries for the deen has done the best. Im saddened by the lack of this in many of the answers...thats a mans watch or shoes or hair come higher on the list than his deen? subhanAllah....and for guys who worry so much about beauty? Sounds like they are looking Toooo much at potential wives....Islam IS the answer

Marital life has nothing to do with dreams, it is very real and very glamorous if you find the right person. Not necessarily the one you dreamed of but the one who could turn your other dreams into reality. This one will come to you out of no where and you will know him/her in a glance.

The advice that came in (hadith) of Mohamed [PBUH] is very useful in this case.
Everyone is looking for something. I make sure also that the other partner find all or part of what she is looking for. Beside what I'll be looking for also.
