I was on depo, and bled for 7 months straight!
You should try doing hormone replacement therapy.
It didn't stop the bleeding, but it lightened it for me, and got rid of the nasty side effects of Depo. It might work to stop your bleeding all together. The bleeding has nothing to do with your abortion... simply the nasty side effects of Depo. And actually, depo stays in your body for up to 14 weeks after the date of your next shot [[even when you didn't go back for the next shot.]] I say, keep trying things because I became anemic because of that. Try to eat foods with a lot of iron. Good luck.

Hate to say it but you need to see your doctor. There's not much else you can do. Are we talking heavy bleeding or spotting? After an abortion, it is common to bleed for a longer period of time.

A bit of bleeding can occur when the body is trying to adjust to the change in medication but I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor to let them know what's going on so that they can evaluate the situation further.
