Maybe just the simple fact that it's a baby would satisfy you? If we wanted to support abortions of sea turtles, bald eagles, or whales, the environementalists would go crazy. A great slogan for them would be "save the whales . . . kill the babies"

There isn't any. ALL arguments against abortion are based on religion. They're also extremely sexist arguments. To quote George Carlin, "They're not pro-life, they're anti-woman."

I am agnostic and I am against abortion because I believe stopping a beating heart is murder. I would never want a law that would make abortion illegal. I think of myself neither pro-life or pro-choice but pro-birth control.

Well, there's the golden rule, basic decency, humanity, basic right and wrong premises, a variety of laws dealing with murder, inalienable rights as defined in our country's founding documents, common sense and last, but not least, the inevitable consequences of our actions should not be so easily discarded.
