If you are living with them, don't break up, just move out. Tell your girlfriend that you think it's for the best for the relationship for you to reside at another place. When the daughter moves out, then you move back.

Overly permissive mom who's basically abdicating her parental responsibilities by refusing to hold her daughter to any sort of rules or boundaries? Yikes. :-( Living with an out-of-control teen and a mom who refuses to parent her has GOT to be hell on earth.
Are there any other relatives -- the girl's biological father maybe, some grandparents, aunts and uncles, maybe some trusted family friends -- who have noticed the same bad attitude and out-of-control rudeness? If you could get some or all of them to talk to your girlfriend about her daughter, it *might* make an impact? At least your gf will begin to see that it isn't just you complaining; if other family members whose judgment she trusts tell her the same things you do, maybe she'll listen?
If that doesn't work and the daughter's attitude and behavior don't improve, then you might have to leave :-(

Have you talked to your girlfriend about how you feel? I had a similar situation that involved twins. I just expressed my needs to her and we have been working on it. We just set time aside for ourselves. We talk at night a lot, especially in bed. I've expressed my concern on how the twins are not getting discipline and we have all worked on teaching them a little better. I know that the age difference is big between them but just let her know that you are worried and concerned that the daughters lack of discipline is going to posse a problem for you two if not handled. Reassure her that you love her but something needs to change. I really wish you the best!

It's a package deal. If you don't like the daughter- go. If the relationship is good- she will still be the one for you when her daughter grows up and moves out.
