where can I find bendable wire strip (as used in collapsible frisbees, auto sunshades, etc.)?

It's a thin flat wire strip. When it is housed inside a fabric hem (as in a collapsible frisbee), it can collapse onto itself and if the wire is 3' long (as an example) at the onset, it could end up being only inches in diameter once it collapses. I need to find where to buy this kind of wire as soon as possible.

It's basically spring steel---call some local steel wire companies or manufacturers. Or cut apart a sunshade made with it and use what you need for a sample.
