President Bush and former President Bush are very strongly pro-American.
Just read:
Losing bin Laden: How Bill Clinton’s Failure Unleashed Global Terror and Shadow War: The Untold Story of How Bush Is Winning the War on Terror by Richard Miniter, a fellow at the Hudson Institute.

Forms of Government:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_forms_of_government
I really cannot believe how uninformed most people are regarding President Bush.
And no, I do not equate "Bush and America being one and the same". I do not care for rich people (what are referred to as "middle class") or wealthy persons, as they are selfish, greedy, refuse to pay their fair share of taxes, refuse to be responsible for their own actions (just listen to the 6 o'clock news) nor do they have much in the way of humane traits.
The single biggest liar I have ever heard in my entire life was President Clinton; so, besides being one of the wealthy, being an extreme Liberal with no morals what-so-ever, he was a champion liar. Why not pick on Clinton, instead of making up things about Bush?

From what I've noticed, whichever party is "in power" equates their leader with America. Clinton and his wife wanted to implement some flagrantly socialist policies during his terms, and he was "American." Bush and Clinton both violate the constitution, etc.

After all, what party would NOT want their leader equated with "America"? It'd be political suicide.

i am a lifelong republican, but when i think of bush, i think of 3 generations of traitors against america. when i think of bush, i think of sending this country to war simply so the price of oil will rise and to place the country in a continuous state of emergency so the government can do things during war time that it would never be able to get away with during peace time.

precott bush was convicted of some sort of treason for financing the nazi party while president of an international bank.

bush, sr was perhaps the most powerful man in the world;even before he became president. he no doubt is in the top 3 most powerful. absolutely the top drug runner in the world when he ran the CIA. he came up with crack and distributed in in LA in black neighborhoods. rumors have it he was involved in the kennedy assassination back when he was undercover cia.

Probably the same reason democrats choose to divide the country into little blue and red states rather than showing some form of unity. For that matter why do demcrats equate conservatives with republicans? Its all silly, its just a matter of perception I suppose, republicans won so they see bush as an extension of the countries belief, democrats lost so they attempt to pretend that nobody really voted for bush and he just magically won.

Look, I totally agree with you but some aren't smart enough to realize that while you may be disgusted with your government, the nation still needs the peoples love. There are more than a couple handfuls of true America haters here. america, not Bush and that's wrong and unhelpful and unproductive and will bury them and most likely this country. Some people who don't like me would probably like to disresp[ect my house but my kid lives here and my mate and what did they do to you, ya know. so, its like that with america too for some people.

North american union is anti-america, so is the patriot act, gitmo, getting rid of habeus corpus, spying on americans, fema camps, open borders, unconstitutional wars, bankrupting the country, lying to the people, selling propaganda through the media. I just can't list it all.

Since when does Bush=America? As a republican, I believe that they are not one in the same. I believe that Bush is simply leading America and America is filled with the smart people that voted for him and then a bunch of other people who are desperate for attention by asking questions like yours.

Because Bush and the GOP believe America is on "their side".

Um....

NO.

Only 30% of them are on their side.
