There are plenty of things to dislike about our government but the physical land of the USA and most of the people who live there are everything that is good and right on this earth. Do you think hating her will make her great again or make her represent the values you believe in? It won't, it will bury this nation. No one who lives in America can possibly say that's what they want because it will mean his/her life as well and all of ours who simply struggle to live and work and carve out a peaceful existence. i think you all are just frustrated because you can't reconcile the things that the elite politicians generate with your personal ideology of peace and fairness. but if want change you have to will it with love. you gotta LOVE this country and all the good she still represents and all that she could be. Alot of the ideas behind Liberalism are truly great, how did it become so distorted?

I'm sure this question will bring out the best in people! Ha Ha. Quit being a bunch of school kids and start agreeing on what is best for America. Ya that means all of us. You know if we did that this truly would be the greatest nation on earth!

You mention people hating America. I know lots of liberals and not one of them hates America. Most disagree with our leadership but that is what democracy is about. Without dissent and difference of opinion we might as well have a dictatorship. Would you want that?

This constant barrage of how liberals hate America is old and tired. It is how the right has tried to frame the debate to their favor. People were suckered in by it before but it isn't going to work this time. Your pal and idol of the past put it very well:

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."
- Joseph Goebbels

The cons also like this quote from another of their idols:

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

So to see you making such statements is no surprise.

Two problems -- first the term "liberal" is often thrown around with no real understanding about its meaning -- and is often used by some to refer to anything they don't like.

Second -- the idea that "most of the people who live here are good" -- that's not generally accepted -- a lot of people would disagree, on both ends of the spectrum.

Hating America will not make it great -- but neither will arbitrarily standing by every decision made in the name of the country, regardless of the costs or consequences.

Most liberals have specific things they want to see -- and most of these are based on their view of how the Constitution wants the country to exist -- other people can disagree with that interpretation, but having a different belief does not mean either one hates the country -- even if they do hate some of the things that are done in the name of the country.

Try this -- remove the word "liberal" from your question and replace it with "people" -- talk about the people who hate America, versus the people who are working towards their own ideals of how America should be -- then you can discuss whether you agree with those goals.

Liberals love the U. S., they only see flaws in it. permit's settle for it, this us of a isn't suitable. There are errors, and per hazard some, nonetheless no longer all, of the systems in Europe can teach to be useful. Liberals love the U. S., that is why while they see some thing incorrect with the rustic, they want to repair it. in the event that they hated the U. S., then while they might see some thing incorrect they might only be like, "**** it. i'm leaving." yet no, they alter it, they attempt to advance it, because of the fact they have a inventive and prescient of ways tremendous the U. S. could be. per hazard no longer each and all the policies they take into consideration are stable, yet do no longer be so speedy to assume only because of the fact a concept is liberal it may be undesirable.

LOL Americans are everything goo and right on this earth.

THIS EARTH???? AAAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!

I like America, love the constitution and the rights we are able to enact here. I don't think anyone HATES the USA who is American (besides those whacked out Taliban Americans) but when they say offensive things that is the beauty of this country at work.

Its not for us to agree with them, but they CAN say it and we can disagree. She is an ever changing, ever evolving nation, a living, breathing thing and she can become something I hate if I don't do my American duty and speak out.

Can you please give us names and quotes and how they affiliated themselves with liberalism??
Can you please.
Or are you simply quoting the hate rhetoric of your slanted taking heads @ fox. That's where your distortion comes from.
I am a probably what you would call a liberal. I don't know any liberals that hate America. Never heard one liberal, leftist, democrat, Air American talk show host or caller say
"I'm a Liberal who hates America"
-So just stop your "Hatred Towards Liberal Americans"

The idea of loving America or hating America is such an absurd over-simplification. Why do you let the conservative media funnel your thinking into simplistic concepts?

If you say someone hates America, does that mean they hate the Appalachian Mountains, Hollywood movies, rock and roll, and baseball?

If you say you love America, does that mean you love deficit spending, stealing land from natives, and no health insurance for poor people?

When did Americans like you give up their ability to comprehend subtilties and complexity, and adopt the simplistic world views of angry conservative media stars?

It's annoying when conservatives say all liberals hate America. Especially because it is not true. My brother served with the Navy overseas in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. He saw people die. He was a member of our troops, and people tell me because I have liberal ideas, I must not support out troops. I supported my brother. I support my math teacher who is currently with the Army Reserve in Iraq. I support my mom's co-worker, and his squad after he was killed in action. I don't think any American hates America. It is a rumor of the right that we hate America, and it should be stopped. Liberalism did start out as a good movement. It still is. People just have to look to see it.

lIBERALS ARE WHO IDENTIFY WITH PEACE, JUSTICE, PATRIOTISM AND LOVE. THE ONES WHO ARE AGAINST LIBERALS ARE THE SLAVES OF IMMORALITY. THEY HAVE NO PRECEPTIONS, CONCEPTIONS, IDEOLOGIES AND THELOGIES. HISTORY SAYS THAT THEY WERE BANKERS FOR HITLEER. THEY ARE SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN CLONS OF HITLER AND HESS. WHAT IS THE MOST DIABOLIC ROLE HEY PLAYED? THE HOLY EARTHY GENOCIDE TRINITY OF THE BLOODTHIRSTY ORGIES AT THE AZORES.
MAKE LOVE WITH LOVE AND BE LOVE. gANDHI SAID "AN EYE BY AN EYE, THE WORLD WILL BE BLIND". PUSH BUSH INTO A BUSH, INERT HIS BACK A BUSH AND PISS ON HIM. YOUR EARTHY CHRISTOLOGY IS "AN EYE BUY A HUNDRED THOUSAND EYES". I REMIND YOU THAT GANDHI ALSO SAID "I LIKE CHRIST, BUT I DO NOT LIKE YOUR CHRISTIANS. THEY ARE UNLIKE YOUR CHRIST". THE NAZIFASCIST SUCKER BUSH, PISSED ON CHRIST AND THE CROSS. HE IS A DIABOLIC CUSADE APOSTATE AND GAVE AMERICA THE HATRESS EVERYWHERE. YOU ARE HATED EVEN BY THE RATS OF DRAINGES AND THE MONKEYS WHICH LIVE ON THE BRANCHES OF TREES. I DO NOT AGREE WITH THAT THEORY, THERE A GREAT PART OF AMERICAN PATRIOTS, MORALISTS AND PEACEFUL. PEACE COMES OUT OF JUSTICE. IT IS A DEVILISH THEORY "BE NICE TO AMERICA OR WILL BRING DEMOCRACY IN YOUR COUNTRY". DEMOCRACY MEANS DICTATORSHIP, AMERICANS´ SHOES CLEANERS.
