Thats what we get for being part of the bogus "UN". All the world leaders come here because its the most stable and safest location in the world to do such thing.

As a member, and ultimately host of the un, we are responsible for the lives of them as t hey are here. Tax payers undoubdetly pay hundreds of millions to allow them their little all expenses paid trip here.

1. He was here because of the UN, and UN meetings are in New York.

2. He spoke because he was invited to speak at a college. Why it was televised, WHO KNOWS.

3. Free speech is given to everyone on american soil, and thats how it must be.

4. Right on, HE allows ZERO free speech, but USA dosent change its constitution per person, or adopt foreigners laws on a per person basis.

You have a United States University President who thinks he can run the country. Two years ago it was the United States Judicial System trying to run the country. They even put one young woman to death by removing her feeding tube. This will continue to happen until Congress steps up to define the laws they make. All of a sudden, no one understands or can interpret the Constitution any more. Either they can't or they refuse. The Government can't even recognize an enemy in the country such as Ahmadinejad and they let rebel president's of universities invite the enemy for dinner so he can pick out his next terrorist's hit site.

He was allowed to speak because a University President over stepped his bounds. The Univ. President will be visiting Syria next with the Speaker of the House.

EMT is right:

He is just a liar. As u know he tried to ignore that he knows all about the ppl in jail (in Iran). In university he also said "our ladies in Iran have freedom", its funny because we cant even wear what we want and the fact is that for example if a lady's husband doesn't let her go out of the home and she does she is a criminal! If a man kill a lady he is not punished he just have to pay the money but if he kill a man he will be hanged up! (ladies are half a man in iran so if he kill 2 lady then they hang him up)

The reason he tries to tell lies in Iran is that here are some stupid ppl believing him but I was really shocked when he was trying to fool American ppl in Columbia university with his stupid answers! It's a shame really!

Last night in Iran I saw a program of him (when he was back to Tehran's airport) in TV, he was just blaming America & the university, he was telling that in America he had found poverty, he thinks here in Iran we dont have it! When he is talking he allways try to ignore everything and fool people.

He is a racist and if he get the nuclear power he will kill everyone who is not muslim! In their holly book it says kill anyone who doesn't believe in god!

Something else... as u know when he was telling lies in the university ppl tried to laugh to moke him but u know when Iran showed the program they had mixed the clap sound with his speech!!! That's funny!

As I remember we have a law about freedom of speech? Remember that? He was invited and given a bad time at that but shouldn't we show an example to the other oppressed nations about our freedoms? It is up to you what you think of what he says or believes. Of course he should have been allowed to speak.

It is because of our freedom of speech that I can adamantly disagree with that person ahead of me who obviously doesn't know what she is talking about.

Free speech is the answer whether you like it our not. What makes this country great is that you are allowed to say things even if most don't agree with it. I know it's a hard concept for you to grasp but that's too bad.

Well I do not support Israel either but I do believe in the holocaust but unfortunately the but the government of that country seem to have forgotten about it as they are doing the same to the Palestinians as the Nazis did to them. Its time that the US stopped supporting terrorist groups such as Israel and the IRA

He was here because of the UN. I think the space occupied by the UN is governed by international law & not just our laws. The UN is, unfortunately, weaker & more sissified than its parent creation, the League of Nations.

I'm amazed at this as well. However, I will say that he only proved with his own words to the entire world what an idiotic, crazed, megalomaniacal, wacko-nutsy crackpot he truly is.
