It's best to wait until 6 months before introducing baby foods. All's a baby needs for the first 6 months is breastmilk and/or formula and you don't want tot take away from that.

Yes...3 month is to soon. Hold off to 6 month if you can. Best to wait till baby is ready and most 3 month olds aren't. Baby's that age still have a tongue thrust that automatically tries to spit food out of the mouth. If baby's not ready chocking is a hazard at this age. Lots of babies are started on rice cereal at 4 months (not in a bottle but spoon fed). The longer you wait the least likely they'll end up with an allergy later.

I was always told to wait until they can hold their head up by themselves before giving any solids. They can swallow better and less likely to choke. Another thing to watch out for in applesauce is the acid in it. It can cause bad bowel movements or diaper rash. Not all kids will have that problem but I know that my brother and my daughter do and they can't have anything like that or juice right now b/c of the effects. My daughter started sitting up around 4-5 months and that's when I introduced her to baby food and rice cereals.

Yes, it is a bit early to introduce solids. The recommendation of most pediatricians is to wait until your baby is 4-6 months old to begin introducing solids. Nutritionally, a baby gets everything he/she needs for proper growth and development from breast milk and/or formula until about the age of 6 months. Any introduction of solids before 6 months should be done for supplementation purposes only and shouldn't replace any milk feedings quite yet. Your baby should be going in for a well-baby check-up at 4 months old and you can discuss introduction of solids with her doctor then.

WAY too early. You need to wait until she is six months of age. She has to be able to hold up her head on her own for long periods of time, and she has to be rid of the tongue thrust reflex (it's what helps her latch onto the bottle or breast, but could cause choking on solid food).
This is all second to the fact that it could give her major digestion problems, as her little system is not developed enough for it yet. It also gives far more of a chance for baby to become allergic to whatever you give her.
Just wait it out for another three months. You can do it.

Each baby is different. If she is satisfied by normal amounts of formula or breast milk I wouldn't worry about it yet. My first son could not get enough to fill him up at two months so the doctor suggested adding cereal to the formula. Problem solved and slept all night. Remember though that anytime you try something new, do it small amounts and see the results before giving too much. Watch for allergies, constipation, diarrhea, etc.

fruit should be the last thing you introduce to a baby. My doctors have always told me cerael at 4 months, then veggies, then fruit. If you start too young they could get allergies, the could have reactions to their digestive system not being ready, and if you introduce sweet stuff like apple sauce they may not by as likely to eat veggies. You want them to get use to cerael and veggies first so when they are introduced to fruit they still the other things. To be safe, I'd ask your doctor their opinion before starting something new.

A baby's digestive system is not ready to handle anything other than breastmilk for the first six months of life, this is a recommedation by the World Health Organisation.

Have you done any reading at all on how to raise a child?
Have you discussed the important issues with your doctor?
Get down to the library and/or book store and pick up a book on raising a child before you kill that poor child with your lack of education.
