I have had my razor phone for about 9 months now and there is something wrong with it. It is still receiving calls and text messages, but sometimes I can't get to them on time because the screen will not come on. When the screen is on, it is discolored or the picture will be chopped upand sometimes it looks like the static on t.v. Some people I was talking to say that razor phones mess up a lot. Does anyone know what is wrong with it or what I can do to fix it? Thanks for your help.

It all depends on what RAZR you have as there are many models out there. The original RAZR V3 had many issues and was a lot more prone to physical and liquid damage. If you've only had it 9 months I would take it back and see if they can repair as it sounds to me like a manufacturor defect but I couldn't say for sure without actually seeing it in person.

Typically the cable between the clam halves of the phone becomes cracked or develops a poor connection. Sometimes a small switch inside will not make good contact causing the screen to become erratic.
Repair facilities will repair the problem providing there has been no moisture damage.
Motorola is not a wise choice.

OMG, my old RAZR did this, the exact same thing. Just take it to your Cell Phone provider, and tell them whats going on, it's a software issue.
