Military strength? Do you mean, do the European nations and the U.S. want to avoid terrorism? Yes, we want to avoid terrorism. They are nothing but thugs. Clean up Iran and Iraq and Afghanistan and the rest and let they have an honest government.

They are pipsqueak nation from a conventional military standpoint - but acquiring nuclear weapons makes them an instant and considerable threat, not only to us but to moderate nations in the middle east as well as the whole of Europe.

Iran has but a fraction of the military power American can muster..

But nuclear weapons change everything.. And this guy would use them the day they get them. We must strike first!

I would be. The Iranian government is run by fundamentalist conservatives whose basic ethos can only be described as sociopathic. As deplorable as the Bush league is, they are bang on when they say that Iran cannot be allowed to possess such a weapon.
