Well I´m 13 and I love the books:
*Hoot
*Canyon by Gary Paulsen
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
Dogsong by Gary Paulsen
*Around the world in 80 days by Jules Verne
*The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
***The chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
I strongly recommend the ones with a star beside them.

"Twilight" by Stephanie Meyers. That book's great. And there's a series so after that come "New Moon" and the newest that came out last month "Eclipse" It's like a mystery teen romance novel. Girl falls in love with vampire.. he doesn't want the relationship for her own protection and then later she becomes best friends with a werewolf and the werewolves and vampires are enemies but have a peace treaty and it's challenged by Bella because she's obviously involved with both sides.

"Someone Like You" by Sarah Dessen
It was probably the best book ever, I never wanted to put it down, yet I never wanted it to end. It is perfect for a 14 year old.

Anything by Judy Blume, particularly "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret," or "Just As Long As We're Together."
"A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith
"Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery
Those were my favorites at that age...

It really depends on what she likes. There are plenty of different genres. When I was 14 I had already read Beowulf
