Notable Survivors
Here is a listing of famous and infamous survivors of child abuse, sexual abuse, spousal/dating abuse, and rape. If there is a link for you to click, that means there is a profile for you to read. If you know of a notable survivor I don't have up here, please let me know. To return to the main page, click here.
* Note about sources -- My sources generally come from print/internet interviews, documentaries, biographies and the like. I generally have sources for every profile, but I think there is one that I need to back track on and find the sources.
* Also, the term "secondary domestic violence" denotes that the well known person grew up in a home where one or both parents were the victim of domestic violence. The term "domestic violence" when applied to the persons denotes that they are the survivor of domestic violence where they were the primary victim.

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/3jLWZ
Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.
Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

AT 8, Donnie McClurkin was raped by a relative. At 13, he was raped by another relative. At 31, he was diagnosed with leukemia.
But at 36, with church, music and an unyielding faith, McClurkin hit gold with his self-tiffed debut gospel album and changed his life.
