I am a grown woman with 2 teenage children and a wonderful husband of 23 years. I don't have any girlfriends really. I mean I am friendly with the women that I work with. I just don't really have a best girlfriend. My husband is probably my best friend and I have a great relationship with my sister, mom, and an 81 year old neighbor. Still, I don't really have anyone my age that I am "very" close to. I was wondering if any other women are like me. Is it just that we are so busy that we don't have time to make friends?

Investing in a friend is the best investment you can make.
A friend is someone that likes the person that you are. Not
what you have, or your connections, not what you can do for
them. They are like Angels on Earth and when you need to talk or what ever they are there for you. I am blessed with many friends and I love them. My late husband was my best
friend, when he was gone my friends enclosed me with their
love and kept me from despair. Get yourself a friend! One thing tho, You have to be a friend in return. It's not a one way
street.
