Wow, what a thoughtful, reasoned query.

I would say that you are the idiot, based on your question.

That was easy!

There are no idiots. Just a complete lack of interest on the part of both sides to try to understand where the other is coming from. We then crucify the other and call them an idiot instead of agreeing to disagree.

I have always thought that anyone who thinks Bush is an idiot has made no attempt to understand his opinions/ideas. You may disagree with him 100% but someone who has enjoyed success in multiple areas of life as he has is by no means an idiot.

Like Ahmadinejad, I may think some of the things he says are a bit idiotic, but I would seriously underestimate him to say that he is an idiot.

I wouldn't say either are idiots (although we all have our moments). Most people do what they do because they feel it is right, or what is best for them. Bush is doing what he is doing for a reason, although many of us don't agree with it. We voted for him (not me, I didn't vote, so I have no right to complain) for whatever reason we did, so now we are stuck with him and have no choice but to go along for the ride. The nation is in his hands because we put it there. At the time, it didn't seem idiotic, but we had no way to know what he would do after the fact.

Of course, your question requires a person share your point of view. We must either believe President Bush is an idiot or we must accept everyone who supports him is an idiot. There are other options but your world view doesn't permit you to see them. Too bad.

Actually no one. Bush isn't an idiot. He knows exactly what he's doing. Even though what he's doing is wrong, he's not stupid like he doesn't know what's happening, he's just doing it anyways. He has motives, and so does the rest of the government and the think-bots.

Can you really have an intelligent conversation without including the actions of Congress? I think not.

We elect Congress to represent us in decision-making.

Bush is the evil genius. The only idiots are the Americans that got him appointed to his first term and they proved their idiocy by giving him a second.

The American People. Bush doesn't seem like the brightest bulb, but he was born into the power elite. They have the wool over our eyes and how
