You can not owe somebody something that comes from the heart and if it comes from the heart should they not already know what your heart says. My heart tells me that apologies only tend to reopen the wounds they attempt to close. The best apologies are not apologies at all. They are showing the other person that no apology is needed, and if you can't do that then mere words will not do that for you.

why do people go to jail? If there is not some thing owed to society as in being erased for a crime punishment for a action or behavior so wrong they can not even walk on the same streets as others, They pay for being so negative with time in a cell. No freedom!! When society is owed !!! It doesn't wait for remorse, It takes it.

Yes. I owe an apology to my mom since I didn't say "thank you" to her for a long time. I owe an apology and "thank you" to her for the great things she has given to us... She deserves the best...She is the best

Sometimes we all do, but when those people sometimes owe us a bigger apology, the best policy can often be to move on and forget about it.

Not at present, but I have done my share of apologies, mostly from running my mouth without thinking in my past. Words can be a powerful weapon. I'm glad I got over myself & learned mouth control, as well as grew up a bit.
