Last year my son and I were soldiers. That is an honorable costume. You could be any character. I doubt that the captain who pursued Moby Dick would be appropriate for you, but then again you could probably make a very good whaling captain. Be creative. Have fun. Think about history. Think about heroes and villains. Think about the homesteader. Women were strong pioneers. Think about early day scientists. You've heard of the Curie's? One of them was a woman. Again...have fun.
