Hmmmm...B & C.

But I'm not opposed to requiring a bit of effort from voters. It would stand to reason that the voters who made that bit of effort would be a little better informed. And I've been a Democrat since my first ever vote.

Personally we should go with a saner system and go to a noodleocracy.

Overthrow the government, cook a plate of spaghetti and then worship that plate of spaghetti. I see no reason not to. A plate of pasta will not get involved in useless wars, over spend on the budget, trample on the constitution, does not the have the ability to speak so there fore it cannot mispronounce words and would veto every bill it gets from congress if it cannot read it. plus if the plate of spaghetti gets assassinated, we can cook another plate, no big loss. Plus if it gives us too much trouble, we could go to the white house and eat it. No long winded impeachment hearings, just a quick and swift digestion and a job placement that is more suitable for a trouble maker further down the ladder.

The ACLU opposes it because many of the current voter ID laws violate the 24th Amendment -- and the ACLU supports the very simple solution around that constitutional problem, which is to make the IDs and the means of obtaining them free of charge.

Both Democrats and Republicans have supported and opposed various voter ID programs -- there is no single party that is always in favor or always opposed -- it depends on the details of the program.
