I have started to play some more "advanced" stuff now (like Listz Hungarian Rhapsody in C# no. 2), and since it requires a lot of dexterity, my arms are getting pretty sore. Warming up helps a little... perhaps there are some special excercises you know of to help relive the soreness? Or is it just my physical makeup and something I am stuck with. Thanks!

When playing staccato or detatched notes make sure you are using a sweeping motion in your fingers instead of poking the keys. ie. bring your fingers towards the palm of your hand as much as possible while playing. Also make sure when using your thumbs - use the corner of the tip of your thumb (the corner of your thumbnail). - if you are playing with this part of your thumb you should be able to play scales with a coin on the back of your hand.
Remember to sit with good posture and RELAX as much as possible. Good luck!

Playing piano for ten years? Take a break. Just kidding.

Do the same exercises the typists do to keep their fingers limber (red squeeze ball, etc.), but you may also have to curl and hold lower-weight bells (15-20 pounds) for extended exercises to rebuild that strength.
