its a weird film that ive seen in english class i was just curious about what u guys think ron fricke is trying to say thru the film? whats the point?

It is brilliant, engrossing and compelling. It explores the human condition and its place in the world. I have noticed when it is on TV that people who haven't seen it before treat it as wallpaper to start with and gradually get hooked by it. It also improves when you see it again. Great film.

He was juxtaposing a never slow down, modern, sterile world to a spiritual world that is in tune with its natural surroundings.
