It is not a partisan issue -- the legal issue is whether the ID requirements violate 24th Amendment limitations.
And there is a simple legal solution -- one that other state supreme courts have already required -- just require that there be a cost-waiver for the state-issued ID, and provide free legal advice (any law school can provide volunteers) to help people get the ID
Besides, if the Supreme Court did -- as you say -- prevent one party from winning an election, based even in part on some preference for one party over the other -- it would fundamentally destroy any concept of fairness or legal authority that the Court ever held -- and public opinion of the Court is shaky enough already.
So, why do you seem to be happy at the idea of the fundamental legal balance in this country being destroyed and becoming nothing more than a partisan tool?

The election in 2000 was not won by the Democrats by any definition.
Georgia passed a law requiring ID, and it faced opposition as being another sly, underhanded poll tax. They made photo ID's free and the Dems were still not satisfied.
Who in this country doesn't have a photo ID? Especially Democrat voters on welfare!! They have to have ID to apply!!

Aaawwww, I guess your buddies south of the border and your pet collie don't get to vote next time!
I guess you'll have to do the next best thing, keep counting votes over and over until a democrat wins!

I would love to see ID required for voting. The crap about people being excluded because of this is ridiculous. Photo ID's are easy to obtain and if voting and representation of personal views are important enough to citizens, nobody in their right mind should have a problem with this. The only way this will help conservatives is if all of the dead people on DEM rolls don't have ID's.

Probably not, and they will install massive bugs in all the diebold machines and will not allow any minorities to vote and will chain the doors in poor neighborhood. Rich Republican neighborhoods will have mobile Starbucks trucks parked outside to serve those voters who really count.

It's pretty simple to me, when the libs lose it's always somebodies fault, but never their own. The libs tried to argue dimpled ballots as intent, and the machine malfunctioned. It didn't work, so they lost; and then they lost their minds!
Get over it.
