Hi I took my test three times, passed on my third. I think depending on the time of your test it would be a good idea to have a good nights sleep the night be four then on the day think positive you can do this and what harm are you going to come to. for the worst thing that may happen is that you may have to take your test again, so what you will get there in the end. I did and i am sure that there was know won more nervous than me. think positive you can do this good luck

On the day of the test, take a nice calming bath, make yourself feel nice, wear comfortable clothes, style your hair etc.
Have something to eat but dont have stimulants like caffeine and sugar.
Tell yourself that you will pass and picture yourself sitting in your own car, then picture yourself driving that car in detail.
Be focussed, breathe deeply and evenly, remain positive the whole time, things will go well, you will pass.
There are tablets called calms which I think you can buy in chemists if you really feel you need them.
Good luck and BE POSITIVE

Make sure you have a breakfast on the morning of your test ( not chocolate) something healthy as this will give you energy and make you feel less dizzy. You can also get a spray , that you squirt on to your tongue that helps calms your nerves, but i have forgotten what it is called (sorry). I can remember it being in a brown bottle with a yellow label.
Hope this helps and god luck with your test!

Nothing!!!!!!!!!
All you can do is put on your confidence. Then remember that breathing is the key to keep calm. Try not to concentrate too much as that will make you lose your concentration in a kind of paradoxical way.
Perhaps laugh at a good comedy an hour before your test so you can have a happy frame of mind.
I passed on my third attempt by the way.

I don't think you should take any form of medication, as it will impair your performance, reaction speeds etc It also defeats the whole purpose of the test, which is to assess your driving skills. Just try and get a good nights rest beforehand. As someone else stated, lavender on your pillow at night can help you to get off to sleep. In the meantime, try to distract yourself as much as possible from thinking about it. Just accept that you can only give it your best shot, and hope for the best.
Good luck.

I feel you, I had to take the driving test twice.
Seriously the best thing you can do is some breathing exercises, just before you take the test take a lot of deep breaths, and although i know it is harder than it sounds you just have to pretend that the instructor is not there.

I remember my first time flying, the turbulents have been what have been given to me the 1st time because of the fact I wasn't looking forward to it, nicely i grew to become into yet i did now not think of it grew to become into going to be quiet like that, I regarded around at others and that they've been calm so I knew it grew to become into now not something to be apprehensive approximately, if I observed somebody working then that would desire to have replaced my concepts in spite of the indisputable fact that it wasn't so undesirable and the view grew to become into like previous something. only settle kettle and enable them to pamper you.
