cuz O'Reilly hates everything. I feel the need to point out here, again, that whats- his face speaking at Columbia is not an issue of Free Speech. Its a private organization, and they invited him to speak. America has not declared war against Iran, nor have they made any formal accusations, depsite what most of is think. If people don't like it they should send their kids to Oral Roberts University. Hell they made the NCAA tourney.

The issue is not with free speech. With an invitation Ahmadinejad is free to speak what ever he wishes. The issue here, was the wisdom of Columbia University making an invitation to him. While the president of Columbia University could offer to the head of the Ku Klux Klan a speaking engagement---it would be a slap in the face to the black students going to school at Columbia. He could offer an speaking engagement to the head of the Skinhead Nazi movement to give them a platform to speak--and insult the Jewish students. the question was never should any of these type of people be kept from exercising their free speech rights--it was a question of whether people with an agenda like Ahmadinejad were good choices for such an engagement.

I watch O'Reilly daily, and I rarely agree with him. It seems that anyone that doesn't agree with his beliefs or opinions should not be allowed to voice THEIR opinions. He is very cut and dry in what he believes. Sadly, he might say he believes in our free country and our freedom of speech, but people like him only believe in those things when it happens to be the same views that he has. It's the age old adage....my way or the highway.

This is a bully style, and it's not how most of Americans feel. I would have been very curious to hear ahmadinejad's speech, because whether we AGREE with him or not, it's alway good to keep a fair and honest opinion and look at ALL things.

It also doesn't hurt to "keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

I wish they would have televised it on primetime last night, because it can do nothing but educate us on the guys thoughts and beliefs.....and that can NEVER be a bad thing.

I don't understand why people who want to hear Mahmoud Ahmadinejad just don't just go to Iran to listen to him . After all according to the Iranian President Iran is Heaven on Earth .

Freedom of Speech is extended to those who would use it and would allow others in kind, Ahmadinejad doesn't do that, why would we give him the courtesy.

Why does Ahmadinejad hate Freedom of speech for those he disagrees with? Ahmadinejad must hate Freedom of speech, he kills those who he disagrees with. Bill O'Reilly is right on!

Are you nuts? That's not what he's been talking about at all. Go to his website and read HIS WORDS. Don't recite babble from leftist websites, use your own eyes, read the words and if you still have trouble understanding get your GED.

Cons are typically willing to disallow free speech to anyone who disagrees with their narrow black and white viewpoint. Very typical.

By the way George W. Bush said he had no problem with Ahmadinijad speaking at Columbia U. As a member state in the UN he also has full right to speak to the General Assembly whether O'reilly likes it or not.

I don't agree with MA but he has the right to speak. It is kind of like what Patrick Henry said at a meeting of the Virginia House of Burgesses, "While I disagree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it". That is what exemplifies free speech in America.

He has no freedom of speech, a freedom for our citizens. He has only the freedom to be tried briefly and hang, as Saddam did.
