My daughter, when she turned 3, was happy with a plastic tool set. She played with her tools more than any of the expensive stuff she had.

um... maybe well like a swingset. Or a little bike! Yea a little bike!!! Oooh!!! A little puppy! No wait. No DS or No Gameboy. I didnt get a gameboy till i was 9!!! And a DS till I was 12!!! And well um.... maybe a leapster!!! Thats an education gameboy!!! With a touchscreen! And two of the games are a coloring one and an I spy game! And all the rest are educational! Please don't start your kid off to early!!!

He wont use a gameboy!!!

Its not that the DS would be to advanced ..they learn quick.
I have to say for a 3 year old get the advance though so you don't have missing parts (ex: pen) to worry about.

A 3 yr old shouldn't get any of those expensive games.

i think a game boy advance a ds is to expensive if he/she breaks it and i think that the game boy is easier for the to use
when my son turned three i got him one of them portable vtech games that they learn as they play i think that's a better choice than the game boy the vtech is pretty much unbreakable

BOOKS

My daughter's friends' parents call me the book lady because that's all I get for gifts for most kids.
