What's your opinion on her and do you think she has a chance? I pray to God she doesn't win. She's insane. Also, someone else brought up a good point in a different question: It really isn't a good idea to have a female president when we're dealing with countries who have no respect for women. We're practically asking for it.

ok, so about the female president, middle east thing, I see now that maybe it won't be a problem, I was never sure about that to begin with, it just seemed like a good point when someone else stated it however I would classify anyone who thinks that the slaughter of hundreds of babies daily should be legal as insane.

She is definitely a socialist. We do not need her kind of thinking in the US.

Now is the perfect time to have a female president. Why should we have a misogenistic country in the mid east dictate who we vote for and who we don't? Condeleeza Rice is a woman and she is working in the mid-east. Since when do we take our ques from those bastards in the mid east anyway? Why do we give a crap what they think anyway in terms of who we vote for? Geesuz, pull your head out on that issue. I won't be voting for Hillary because I don't think she is much different than the president we have now. She's voted in favor of every thing Bush wanted. And, Her husband was one of the best Republicans the GOP ever had because he gave big corporations and the GOP everything they wanted. Even Greenspan said that Bill Clinton was a great Republican. She'll probably be the same. She's not crazy, she's smart, shrewd and a player. The GOP is crazy and their over zealot militaristic mentality. That's crazy and anti-democratic.

Make no mistake, Hillary Clinton WILL win in 2008. But I will NOT be voting for her. She is perhaps one of the most powerful and dangerous women in the world right now. She is pretending to adopt moderate republican views on key issues to try and win votes from middle America. Which is actually quite brilliant if you think about it. But deep down she is a liberal socialist. And once in power you can expect higher taxes, more social programs that create added dependency on the government, and despite troop reductions here and there, we will STILL remain in Iraq. Watch the stock market take a dump on November 6th when Hillary and her running mate Barak Obama win the presidency.

Maybe that's exactly what the overall plan is... to seem like we're ... "asking for it". Another attack, and if no volunteer surge in the military after the attack... the dreaded draft! Keep America busy in war for the next ten years until the Economy recovers slowly from what would otherwise be a life-changing depression.
Maybe that's why the Republicans are so determined to elect Hillary Clinton that the only candidates given any attention are all easy mince meat buffoons for Hillary's claws.

I think she's the best candidate out there and she has my vote sewn up. She's not insane, how silly. You better start praying harder because she's just gaining ground steadily. She's going to be hard to beat. Your reason for not having a female running this country is probably the most ridiculous argument there is against a female President. There have been women leaders and heads of state around the world for decades, we're the ones catching up. The Middle East has been dealing with women heads of state for a very long time. We send Condoleeza Rice over there on a regular basis to deal with them and they show her no disrespect and would never dare to do so. When our President is female they will show the proper respect without doubt. They would never dare disrespect the President of the United States because of gender. Is it extremely naive to think they would.
EDIT: So you are a one issue voter and that issue is abortion. If both main candidates are pro-choice, as could be the case with Giuliani and Clinton running against each other, who will you vote for? Or will you just stay home and not vote at all?

Personally I believe she is a left leaning socialist who has no moral center of her own and will promise or tell the public anything that she believes will improve her election chances.
What is really terrifying is that given the current political climate she might actually stand a chance of winning, and what's more horrifying is that if she wins the Democratic nomination Obama will most likely be her running mate.
If that ticket wins I don't know what to be more afraid of, civil war or that administration gutting our military and ignoring any threat from those whose stated goal is to make the United States cease to exist while such organizations take the opportunity to grow stronger (you know, like her husband did...).
If that doesn't make you wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night nothing will!

This doesn't look like a question to me, it looks like an opinion. One that I disagree with. I think there are better candidates out there than Hillary Clinton. I like the fact that she doesn't take slander and lies from Republican attacks. For this reason she probably would have a much better chance of winning than much better candidates in the past like Kerry, Gore, and Mondale. Do you think it was a bad idea for Israel to elect Golda Meir, England Margaret Thatcher, or India Indira Ghandi? Are you saying we should appease the terrorists by not electing a woman? Do you realize that that the spokeswoman for the Palestinians, Hanan Ashrawi, is highly regarded in the Arab World?

many people on here say they hate her because she's "stupid" or "a nutcase" or some other silly thing because they can't think up any reasonable argument (pay attention to how no one has, other than "she's a socialist"), and they want to go with the bandwagon approach -- they hear others say they hate her, so they hate her too
as for the "she's a socialist" argument, there's a huge difference between being socialist and supporting universal health care.
this said, i am a democrat but i do not support her. i think her "you-scratch-my-back-i'll-scratch-yours" approach to lobbyists in d.c. is ridiculous. that's pretty much the sole reason i don't like her.
i support edwards. (Obama wants to start another war. i don't want that either)

I do not support her personally, Dr.
When did you diagnose her as insane?
Your other point is as silly as your professional diagnosis.
Would it not be funny to see these countries who have no respect for women, have to deal with an extremely strong woman? That would be something I would like to see. Not enough to vote for her however, Dr.

I'm not sure how I feel about her yet; I need to do a little more research. However, women have been in position of power in other countries for hundreds of years. I really don't think that should be an issue. Those countries already hate us and our politicians, I don't think a woman president would incite more rage against us.

I'm not fan. Of course she has a chance but she has a lot of work to do if she plans on winning a national general elections. She has a lot of automatic support bot possibly even more that would never vote for her under any circumstances........
