1. Saudi Arabia?
2. Angola?
3. China?
4. Viet Nam?

The Bush family has had long personal family ties with the Saudi dictatorship so I have to assume this would be their first choice. But we are making billions of dollars from Angola and China and now Viet Nam. The oil we get from Angola is nice and it’s understandable that our business ran government is user-friendly to them. But what is our excuses for befriending both China and Viet Nam, both countries that are still communist strongholds?

Why do we cast aside our moral standards for the immoral wealth of a handful of American businessmen and their political buddies?

'We' means our businessmen who are making money from trade-friendly avenues that have been opened to both China and Viet Nam. Is this clear enough for you now?

Yes, it is true that the Bush family got wealthy through Prescott Bush's providing aid to Hitler's rise to power, but that shouldn't have any bearing on why we befriend and support business friendly dictatorships today.

Having to choose one from the list above, I would have to pick China.
At the current moment America is outsourcing most of it's Production and Labour Market to China.

There are big fat ramifications for allowing this to take place.
One of which is the gross enrichment of said Country.
The Chinese have started to use the monies gained through commerce from the U.S. to purchase American Interests, land and companies.

The middle class are shrinking and the poor are going to get even poorer until someone or something stops the Politicked Business men from selling America and her jobs abroad.

My second big concern is that these Countries do not abide nor care about U.S. Regulations and Safety Standards. ( nor do these business men as long as they are having to pay a lot less to these third world Countries labourers.
so not only are the American people not safeguarded against these potential perils they are also aiding and rewarding these Counties such as China, to continue with the abuses they display to their own people. IE: Child labour, lack workers rights and a guaranteed base wage.
(Never mind all of the other WHO concerns and other pressing humanity issues that they do not address.

Another Main reason that I believe that the Conservative Government will not adress China,Viet Nam or any of their other bed partners is because they have made a bargain/pact.
The bargain being that they want them to pacify North Korea while this Administration sets it's sites upon Iran.
Remember that they want to insert themselves into the middleast at all costs, Israel demands this as much as this Admin. desires it.

To answer the last part of you question; I have no idea why we should cast aside our moral standards for this immoral wealth.
As always it seems that the individual does not realize the strength that they posses and in a group can be very powerful and make changes.
It is the Ant Syndrome as I like to call it ,or maybe, just maybe along with Rett, they don't give a damm either!

Yes, they like all of the above plus North Korea. Funny how they want freedom for Cuba yet are such close buddies with Saudi ARabia and China. Talk about double speak and hypocritical policies of selective freedom pushing. No mention of the horrible attrocities commited by the Saudi ARabian government and Chinese government on their own people. It's ironic that Bush invades a country (Iraq) that had absolutely no WMD's and barely any arms to defend itself. And, now he's picking on a small island in the Caribbean that has a weak 80+ year old dictator. Anyone else seeing a pattern here? It's easy to pick on the weak and ignor the big guys who actually pose a threat and treat their people 100 times worse than Castro ever did. What a coward this president in the White House is. The irony of his administration never ends.

We haven't had any "moral standards" for----years. There are very clear "reasons" for befriending, but no "excuses." I wonder how many watched Mohmoud Ahmaddinejad today. Frankly, I was transfixed by the truthful, & bizarre--illegal-- actions of "nations of power." Ha. I can see the transparency of humans like I can see through Saran wrap, & the areas he covered might easily have been spoken by the 75% plus of well informed people in this country. He will, & has been bashed by the ignorant, but then, didn't we all believe in WMD? How gullible, & for how long, will some people be?
The administration doesn't "adore" anyone, anywhere. It is all "what's in it for US." We'll turn on them when we feel it appropriate, like yella bellyied sidewinders as in the past.

i think that dilution of the u . s . a . inhabitants is a factor of the schedule of the Dem occasion. consequently, the thought for amnesty for any alien who breaks into the country before 12/2010. Politicaly motivated or not, help to a united states of america in turmoil is ideal. the militia to maintain peace, supply humanitarian help would desire to of been withheld by using Obama's administration and wasn't. the adaptation in agendas between the events seems to be no remember if, after emergency help, Haiti would be offered the kit to grow to be autonomous (republican) or maintained as a united states of america based on the u . s . a . I guess you should look at which dictatorship/s provide the models being used by bush*, inc. to tear down american democracy and freedoms, for the security of their dictatorial whims. That is probably where the greatest fondness lies.
