The only letter not capitalized in the word eleven is the letter n?
Look at the sign next time you drive by....
Why did they capitalize all but the last letter?

There's a rumor that it had to do with the 7-11's owner's Feng Shui belief. Supposedly, the owner believed that the lower case 'n' resembled a magnet, and hoped that it would strongly attract customers to the stores.

Hey Petra...I gotta agree with the rest of them. I too, have lived near a 7-11 store before, not to mention, I drive by frequently, and yet I've never noticed! Good observation skills. Add me to the list of people on the look out...I believe ya, just gotta check it out my self. I wonder if my husband ever noticed....? I bet all of us on here are not only gonna check but will more than likely pass on the info to friends and family....lol.

I have lived by so many 7-11 and I have never noticed this. I will keep a look out now.

Practically all the 7-11 's are gone in my area (Texas) I see one every once in a while in some remote area, so Ill be checking out that sign.
I miss the slurpies!
