My portable air tank the brass looking thing on it is messed up so the hose cant screw back on it so i need help of what i can use to make everything work right please help.

Most auto parts stores have a tank repair kit, or can assist you with what's needed. I installed a female quick connect so I could remove the hose, just like those used in shops and garages. This allowed me totake the hose off when not in use both on my ank OR compressor.

Look at it close. It probably screws into a fitting on the tank and can be removed and replaced. Auto parts stores will probably have the part you need.

I think the brass looking thing is called a fitting. Take the fitting of and go to a plumbing or HVAC supply they should have it.
