suppose the only factor two numbers have in common is one, how can you find their least common multiple?

Multiply them together for example if it is 1/7+1/8 you would multiply 8 and 7 to get 56 and the multiply the by the number you multiplied by 1/7 you would multiply 1 by 8 because you multiplied the denominator by 8. So 1/7+ 1/8 (8/56+7/56) would equal 15/56 which would not reduce

For example, 7 and 5. Their greatest common factor is 1. Their least common multiple is 35.
