I used to get $5 an hour for one toddler. I think $5 for the 10 year old is good and maybe $7 an hour when you have both kids. Good luck!

I am not sure what partly 6 month year old is but I would say 5-10 dollars for one hour, 10 for sure for 2 hours, 15 for 3 hours, 20 for 4 and 30 for 5-6 hours and just keep going up. It really depends on the kids- are they well behaved?? There are a lot of determining factors so really, my numbers mean nothing

$3.50-$5 an hour for both of them minimum.
$2.50 an hour for the baby alone
$2 for the ten year old
PS - prices aren't higher because you are only 14 and you don't have to be paid minimum wage. I think it's awesome that you are certified - if you're babysitting for 4 hours and can make up to $20 at 14, that's good money for someone your age.
When you are 16, 17, 18 = you can charge a lot more!!!

if you are doing this full time for them and its the same times every day, i would charge by the day. i payed 20 dollars a day/400 a month for my babysitter. You have to watch what you charge because if you start charging around minimum wage in your area, you may loose you job. Its not worth, us as parents, to go to work just to pay the sitter. On the days you have the six month old too, charge an extra 5 bucks a day. make sure you have a calender and are keeping track and have the parents sign it so you dont get screwed over on payments.

OMG, where are you guys coming up with 3, 4, 5, and 6 dollars an hour?? Try $12 an hour for 2 kids. Cleaning, cooking, homework. C'mon.

It depends, are you babysitter certified? If so you could ask $5-$6 an hour...If not more like $3-$4 an hour....

$3/hr and for every hr you babysit the 6month old add $1, i live in Canada and that is the going rate right now in my area. There are even some licensed daycares that only charge $2 an hour.
P.S. How much care do you think a 10yr old requires, most 10yr old children are self sufficient and very independant.

Everyone's a low baller here... $3/h? What can you buy with that..? Command $12-$15/h. this will show them you mean business and you take the job seriously. If you end up getting this rate you must understand you can never show up late and always go above and beyond expectations.
