war and debt. that is how they get alot of it, yes american is a country of innovation and problem solving, trouble is it is the average joe who does this, not the government itself. it is slowly being eroded away by taxation over time.

private property rights are being eroded bit by bit, it is these rights that made american the prosperous nation it is today. without private property rights no one has the resources or inclination to invent anything when they know they will get little of the profit from it, or if they aren't interested in profit but humanity they have the fear the government will take it from them and use for war or give it to the greedy corporations to make a profit from it. taking via taxations and permits, through the courts or overregulation and other ways.

so what if they want say iraqies or irans' oil? humm, good question we could just buy it outright, no that would be too costly, we could get them into debt so they are obligated to give us their oil since it was used for collateral, no that won't work they don't need any money from us. hummm how about making it out like the government is a cruel dictator who is out to rule the world? wait a minute that is us, but we can still make the people believe it.

after all we own the schools and the news media. they will believe whatever we tell them, after all we would never deliberatly mislead them would we?

Africa has alot of resources like diamonds and gas and oil too as well has other ores, how about we get them into debt we know they can't repay and make sure they aren't able to get the infrastructure they need or the markets by blocking it and threatening any nation that tries to buy their resources so they are forced to get loans.

then we just call in our chips right away and walk in a take over for teh fraction of the cost. we can get the government to push their own people off the property we want and even kill them outright so they aren't a threat to our takeover.

this is played over and over. that is why they hate that chevez guy in south america, they can't control his oil and he doesn't need americas loans, (international monetary fund and world bank)and they can't stand it. they dont' care about his so called human rights abuses or whatever, that is just a front. look at how the russian and chinese governments are in good standing with the united nations, yet they are guilty fo far worse then the iranian or chevez guy.

it is as old as governments, romans did it too, they went into other lands and took control of anything of value for their own enrichment and over taxed everyone that is why rome callaspe they drowned under their own greed.

RRRR

Actually, we pay for these resources - that's why, for instance, that Japan and the Middle East are such wealthy nations.
Consider yourself - where were the clothes you have on made? The computer you're typing on? The vehicle you drive and the fuel you put into it? Your television, DVD player, MP3, cell phone, appliances, etc...etc.....etc........I doubt seriously that many, if any, of these items were manufactured in America.
