Although I know a lot of what it's about, I haven't seen the movie. I can't really say the movie has influenced me because it makes a pretty obvious point. Had he eaten fast food just once a day for 30 days and had similar results, it would have been more interesting. But (I think) everyone knows the key with all aspects of your diet is balance and moderation.

I eat fast food several times a week, but I tend to stick to the grilled options rather than fried foods - and I'm not a big fan of french fries. When I've had my cholesterol checked each of the last 2 years, I've been if very good shape in terms of my bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Eating fast food is not bad per se. However, making it the center of your diet and not being choosy about what you order is bad.

To be completely honest, the movie had no real effect on me. I've been out for years and don't bother trying to hide anything. What was interesting to me, though, was the number of straight people that were in the theater when I saw the movie. I actually saw the movie in one of the northern, more conservative suburbs of Atlanta and I was very surprised at the turnout. I expected it to be mostly gay people, but ended up being surrounded by more mainstream, straight people than anything. Even more interesting was that the theater was sold out and people were standing and sitting in the aisles to watch it. I was truly impressed that there was no heckling or derrogetory comments either during or after the movie, and the entire audience seemed to be very respectful of the overall content and message.

Having worked in the film and TV industry, movies never influence me. With the right backdrop, dialogue, underlying music, and limited film angles and perspectives, and by eliminating opposing data, I can make almost any concept seem reasonable.

Movies are just a more complicated way to tell a story and, like most stories, are only one particular point of view.

Yes I try not to eat out as much as I use to, but it's hard. I haven't had the French Fries of McDonald's since I saw the movie.

I still eat there but I never ate the fries anyway. I'm actually a taco bueno guy myself. Now if they told me that muchacos were bad for me, then I'd rethink about how many I ate as opposed to how often I ate there.

Yes, quite a bit. I try my best to avoid fast food. It is so full of salt and fat. I try to eat a healthy diet. I learned from that movie, and I learned by going to the McDonalds web site, and seeing their chart on ingredients and nutrition. The salt and fat is SHOCKING!
