I just turned 25 yrs old and my husband is 29 yrs old we have been married 4 yrs.I have a daughter who is turning 5 yrs old soon from a previous relationship. Our marriage started out well but got rocky when an ex.gf of his came after him for child support .Paternity test later proved the boy was my husbands and i supported my hubbys relationship with his son.Later on after moving 3 times for my hubbys career i caved into his wishes for me to quit my job(elementry school teacher)and come home to start a family with him.I could not seem to get pregnant though and recently found out he was cheating on me all that time.Recently he ran off with her after he got fiered.
Bills are starting to stack up for water, electricity, insurance ect.I have a cell phone number to contact him but he wont give me an adress to send divorce papers too?

I remember you from your last question. The only thing you can do about your bills and money for food is go to the social services office. The government has a back up plan for people in need. They have a program that will pay all your current utilities, so collect every bill you have, although they will not pay for cell phone or cable. Then try to get emergency food stamps, its about 400 a month, which is 400 you dont have to spend on your own. They will also set up your girl for childcare, or afterschool childcare if shes in Kinder. So that you can find yourself a job. I suggest going up for Substitute mean while you find a good teaching position. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your circumstances. I've never been married before but I would get the law involved in order to get some kind of spousal support. It may be a good thing you didn't have any kids by this jerk.
Also you can have the state look up his information, or try some "creative" ways to get him to call back. You may even have to "serve" him yourself. Whatever way you decide good luck and I hope everything turns out well for you.

Move home with your parents. Turn off the power, water, electricity bills and hopefully they are all in his name and will effect his creidt not yours. you need to take care of your son and your parents will help you with that. Then you have a great education to base your return to being a teacher on and i think that is the best thing for you at this time... Leave the bills for him.. If you have a cell phone number you can contact a Private Eye to track down a mailing address for the divorce papers.. Best of Luck to you... take care...

Go to the united way. sometimes they can help pay your bills or call the salvation army the might also be able to help. In some states you can dial 211 and its a directory for help agencies also try the dept of human services. Good luck

I would go to Human Services to get food stamps and other assistance until you get a job. You can do this in my state even if you have a house, car, and credit cards. Also, you can still get a divorce without the other party.

Sounds like it's time to hire a private detective to track him down. Put your daughter in daycare until kindergarten starts and get back to work.

I could be wrong but I think you can get a constable to serve him with divorce papers. I know you can in Texas, at least.
If that's possible, where you live, they can find him and serve him.

Your primary concern is to find a job and support your daughter. Your next step is to speak with a lawyer about your options. Trust me, they can and will find him.
