I'm very green when it comes to these two.

I’m trying to do a slideshow of photos in iMovie to transfer to iDVD so I can burn it as a DVD. When I drag photos in iMovie and preview, the photos zoom from close to far (to show the whole picture). But before you see the whole picture it goes quickly to the next picture.

Is there a way that the photos just show the whole photo without the zoom in/out transition? I've checked a million times on the menu and just can't find it.

I'm getting to the point that I want to just use Powerpoint! :) aaargh!

In iMovie, you will see 7 small icons in a row on the right below the photo preview area. Select the "Photos" icon. At the top, look for "Ken Burns effect" and uncheck it.
