I'm kind of laughing at the first answer suggesting Knocked Up - I think it might have been suggested for more reasons than just because it's a funny movie.
I would recommend things like The 40 Year Old Virgin and Wedding Crashers. If you want to try something older, watch Revenge of the Nerds or Porky's. If you're looking for horror, check out some of the old Holloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, or Friday the 13th movies.

Opposed to everyone elses choices of raunchy comedies, I suggest a movie called "LEON." It has action and some violence for the guys, but lots of drama and a good love story for the girl. There's two versions LEON and THE PROFESSIONAL. The second is the american version and is shorter, but still very good. However, LEON is much better, since it isn't all diced up.
Check it out.

Well, I'm old school so for me it's some of the classics
Animal House, Blues Brothers, Adam Sandler movies, - happy gilmore, water boy, kill bill vol 1&2, the transporter
Saw is a good scary one... not sure what you're into
horror, action, drama, sci-fi, comedy, hope I helped just a little bit.
don't forget the popcorn. lol maybe pizza/beer if your of age!

Man she stole my answer..I definitely say Knocked Up because it's HILARIOUS and somewhat raunchy, which is perfect for guys, but it's also got a softer side, which is perfect for girls.
It's just a great movie in general. And I believe it came out on DVD today.
