Loads of songs remind me of my Mum as she was so musical, she loved every type of music imaginable. Whenever I hear Red Red Wine by UB40 though, I travel back in time. She LOVED that song and would sing it at the top of her voice (she was a fantastic singer but she would do a silly version of this song!!). She used to dance around the kitchen to it and do the rap bit in the middle with a silly voice and actions, especially when my friends were over!! I used to tell her off for embarrassing me, what I'd give to see her doing it again! She died when I was 16.

Falling In Love With You - Elvis Presley. It was my grandparents wedding song. My grandfather died of cancer the day before my first wedding anniversary. The song was played at my wedding and I remember him being so happy and healthy looking (that was from all the meds and steroids they had him on though), and they danced to this song. I heard it played sooo much on the radio after he died, it was really hard to take...it still is. Also the first death close to me that I knew in person I've ever experienced.
And I never got a chance to say goodbye :'(

They played Katie Melluah's closet thing to crazy at my friends funeral. I can't hear it without it bringing tears to my eyes. Which is a real pain because i used to really like the song, now it just depresses me.
Bright eye's reminds me of my dad. Anyone that remembers the children's saturday morning show 'Tiswas' will probably know why (if you're old enough.) It used to make him laugh so much at it that when we had it at his funeral it made us smile rather than cry.

Not the whole song, but JUST THE CHORUS to Eminem's "When I'm Gone" makes me think of my Dad because of the "And when I'm gone just carry on, don't mourn, rejoice everytime you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I'm looking down on you smiling, now I can't feel no pain, just smile back" Ahh I got teary eyed just typing it!!
But also "Behind Blue Eyes" by Fred Durst, and "The Dance" by Garth Brooks...and Amazing Grace in bagpipes, which I rarely hear but chokes me up nearly every time.

When my daughter died less than two years ago. I heard a Gospel hymn playing and it was like she was telling me that she was all right and happy. The Hymn was something like this world is not for , and I don't feel at home in this world anymore. It seemed to bring me comfort.
