I want to get my eyebrows waxed but have never done it before...I have a heart shaped face and wanted to know what shape works best for that, and also if anyone knows any good salons in the Northern Virginia area? I'm also afraid that if I get it done they'll mess up, or that when I go back to school it will be really obvious. I just want to get them shaped...

When you go in to have them waxed, let the aesthetician know you want her to be conservative. You might consider having your brows tweezed instead of waxed because tweezing is very precise and it is easier to check in intervals to make sure you like the shape.

Everyone has a natural shape of their eyebrows that suits their face. Go with the natural shape just get them groomed.

The best way to shape your brows is to follow their own natural shape but to clean them up a little....if you go to a reputable salon you should be fine.

Just ask some one at a salon what would look best, and they'll show you some pictures, give you options and you'll choose.
They should numb it, so it won't hurt.

that is a huge huge deal.... your eyebrows frame your whole face. they grow back quickly though so dont worry too much. JUst go have them waxed. you'll love it.
