An aerosol is just something that is floating in the air, and is not necessarily a pollutant, for example steam is an aerosol. Because some aerosols cause asthma does not logically mean that all do.
As far as I know there is no evidence that the ingredients in an inhaler cause asthma in healthy people, and common sense tells me that they would not because they relieve symptoms in asthma sufferers.

since this is an economic section:
OK if what you say is completely true, then what we have is a classic case of rent seeking. The person who has asthma(spelling?) pays a huge cost by not using an inhaler, but by using the probablistic chance (and thereby cost) to the general public is very small. So you must determine is the high price and maybe death of one outweigh the very low cost to all?

I don't think so. The ingredients in the aerosols are being released into their system and not directly into the atmosphere so that can't be.

thats just stupid... not all inhalers are aerosol, and those that are, the sufferer inhales it, thats the idea, not spraying it into the air...
therefore they are not causing other people to get asthma...
seriously...
