My wife and I would love to sponsor a third world child and send money to help support them. The only problem is that we do not trust a lot of the organisations not to take a slice of the money in their "administration" fees. Does anyone sponsor a child and which is the best, most honest charity organisation to give to where we know the money we are giving is going straight to where it is needed.

why don't you visit a poor country and find a family for yourself then you'll know the money is going to good causes. by doing this way you'll be sure of having a personal touch and you can see the progress of the child.
DO NOT TRUST CHARITY COMPANIES BECAUSE THEY PAY THEMSELVES TOO MUCH AND SAY THE MONEY IS USED FOR ADMINISTRATION
