There are many different things that are done or can be done when suffering from infertility.

First you and your partner need to find out if one of you is the less fertile. His test is easier and he should go for a sperm count ASAP.

You will get some testing too, first a normal check up. They might want to do an HSG which checks the open-ness of fallopian tubes.

1st level might be help ovulating (with Clomid as an ovulation aid for 3-6 months).

2nd level might be IUI (intra-uterine insemination with Clomid and possibly a trigger shot as an ovulation aid).

Then, maybe you get to IVF, in-vitro fertilization.

These procedures are all expensive and some may not be covered by your insurance. Nothing is guaranteed.

Don't be embarrassed, many people have infertility issues.
