That in spite of the fact that you are wallowing in self-pity, life still goes on, and the more you wallow, the more you miss, for life is rushing past you as a great wind.
Stop wallowing. Choose life.

The meaning is obvious: sometimes we feel down and wallow in pitty about ourselves because of the bad things in our lives, all the while we fail to see the good things and blessings we also have in our lives. Live is never good or bad it always just is, so we've got to choose what to see, good or bad. For example, we frown in our society on arranged marriages, but how many single midage women did not at least once, long for someone to find them a mate?

The aspect of you that is feeling the emotions is not all that is.
There is so much more to you,
which moves through all as air,
blown by the wind.
